Our Dear Colleague Mark Evans

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear friend and colleague Mark Evans. Mark died in the early hours of Friday morning, May 30th 2025.
You may have noticed in recent months Mark hadn’t been presenting his show as regularly as he would have liked. This was because of his ill health. He presented his final show a week ago, on May 23rd, after which he became too unwell.
Mark joined Seahaven FM at its founding in 2008. He was one of the original presenters from those early days and he became more involved as time went on. Mark became part of the board of management and continued to serve in that role for 15 years.
He will be sorely missed by all those who knew him and heard him on the radio including everybody at Seahaven FM.
Thank you Mark for all you have done and for just being you, it was a privilege to know you.
Our thoughts are with Mark’s partner and his sons.
