Peter Suter

Peter Suter

When he was 13, Peter tuned into Capital Radio, one of the first independent commercial radio stations, where there was great music and presenters seemed to be having fun! From this early experience he has held a lifelong passion for independent local radio.

Over years Peter has taken on many presenting roles, mobile disco’s, nightclubs, hospital radio and comparing live events.  He also had a successful career in IT that brought him and his family to Sussex in 1994.

He became involved in local radio in 2010, joining Seahaven FM in 2026.  Outside of radio he enjoys the gym, yoga, padel and loves walking in the fabulous local countryside particularly around the South Downs National Park. He is keen to support local businesses, particularly the excellent local breweries!

You can hear Peter on a Saturday morning from 10 to 1 o’clock presenting Seahaven Local where he is looking to showcase local events.

He is particularly keen to hear from you if you would like him to mention your local event one Saturday morning. No event is too small; it’s all about generating local community interest.
