WHO WE ARE

Who We Are

Seahaven FM is a team of local people fulfilling many roles, including:

Reception staff, researchers and writers - who ensure that we know what is going on in our community, and who manage our relationships with other local organisations. They answer the phones and they welcome publc callers and guest interviewees.

Production assistants - who arrange interviewees for programmes and edit audio ready for transmission.

A technical team, which repairs, maintains and develops our equipment - from the studio computers; to websites; to the internet feeds; to the transmitter sites.

Presenters - both seasoned radio professionals and new voices who we provide training for.

Managers - running the different parts of the organisation; including our board, finance, staffing, technical, production, scheduling, relationship management and sales. 

All are welcome, working from a couple of hours a week to several days; either at home or from our studios or our admin office.
