An estimated 20,000 people gathered in Lewes for this year's Bonfire Night celebrations, with police making 11 arrests and ambulance crews treating 52 people during the event.
Thousands of spectators descended on the East Sussex town on Thursday 5 November for its traditional bonfire processions and fireworks displays.
Sussex Police confirmed that officers made 11 arrests in connection with eight incidents throughout the evening.
The offences included assault, drunk and disorderly behaviour, possession of an offensive weapon and criminal damage.
Police also issued three dispersal orders as officers worked to manage crowds and respond to incidents during the celebrations.
Meanwhile, ambulance crews reported treating 52 people, four of whom were taken to hospital for further medical attention.
The annual Lewes Bonfire celebrations are among the most famous in the country, attracting large crowds to the town every November, despite calls for only local people to attend.
The event features traditional torchlit processions, bonfire societies and fireworks displays, with thousands of people taking part or watching from the streets.
Emergency services maintain a significant presence throughout the celebrations, with police and ambulance teams working alongside other agencies to help keep those attending safe.
