Paul Jason

With a radio involvement spanning back to the early 80s, his journey began at Hospital Radio DGH Eastbourne, where he served as a presenter. His programme was very community based and a lot of fun to get started in the radio world.

Paul then got involved with BBC local radio with a few on air projects. Over the intervening years he has been part of the south's biggest radio stations, including Southern Sound, Heart, Mercury FM. As a technical operator he operated studios during outside broadcasts and has also delivered studio production on live football coverage for a national station.

After many years in the industry, his passion for all things radio remains as strong as ever. Outside of the studio, you'll likely find him at the cinema catching the latest releases or out in the fresh air walking his dog, Tequila, and no it's not Paul's favourite drink. She was a rescue dog and had been given that name before, so just kept it.

Paul produces some of our regular programmes and has plans for a new programme which he will present.
