Engineering Work

Engineering work on the Newhaven mast means that we had to switch off our 96.3FM Ouse Valley transmitter in the afternoon of Tuesday 27th February.  From today (Wednesday 28th February) at about of 4pm the transmitter is back on air, but on low power.

If you are listening on an FM radio in the Newhaven, Seaford, Peacehaven and Lewes area, you may find our signal is not as strong as it usually is in some areas.

So, If your are experiencing difficulty in getting us on FM there are lots of alternate ways to listen. Smart speaker is a brilliant way of tuning in, for example. Just ask your smart speaker to 'play Seahaven FM', if you are using Alexa set Seahaven up by saying "Alexa, ENABLE, Seahaven FM.  This wil give you the best experience of listening to us on Alexa, without the TuneIn ads at the start.

Our Eastbourne transmitter on 95.6FM is not affected.
