TREVOR SMART

Trevor Smart - Sports Reporter.

He has lived in Newhaven for over thirty years and played cricket for Rodmell, Newhaven and Chalvington and Ripe Cricket Clubs.

A life long fan of Brighton and Hove Albion,he also played football in the local leagues for many years including Iford Football Club. He is interested in all sports and still plays golf (very badly he says).

A career in Engineering and Quality Assurance was followed by becoming a qualified mathematics teacher and moving from classroom teaching to specialising in one to one and small group tutoring and becoming an Examiner for GCSE Mathematics and Statistics.

Now retired he is an enthusiastic bridge player, playing twice a week at The Eastbourne Bridge Club.
