Saturday Morning Show

Kevin sets you up for the weekend with a lookahead to what's happening up and down the Sunshine Coast.

We'll preview the weekend's local football matches, take a look at what's happening in sport elsewhere, pick the cream of the crop from the Whats On pages and ask you to guess the year in the Eight Decades of Hits Challenge.

In this weekend's football...

Everton are the visitors at the Amex on Saturday. They are not enjoying a good season and will facing Brighton as the Seagulls roll off a stonking 5-1 victory at bottom placed Sheffield Utd. Injuries will not be on Everton's side with several key players out of contention. That said, the Toffees are bogeymen for Brighton - they haven't won any of their last six Premier League matches.

Eastbourne Borough fans had a lift on Tuesday as The Sports came from behind to secure a 'must-win' home victory against Havant and Waterlooville. They currently stand 3rd from bottom in the Vanarama National League South and will be on the coach to midtable Weston Super Mare on Saturday. Maths is going to come into play as we head towards the end of the season - whilst they currently stand  3 points from safety, the teams above them have 4 games in hand. In short, Borough have a hill to climb.

The derby win that broke a hat-trick of losses couldn't be sustained by Lewes last weekend - they lost 3-0  to Chatham at the Pan. They are on the road to 6th plan Horsham on Saturday where they will want to put that loss behind them, and elevate from 11th in the Isthmian Premier League.
